Paralegal
Joe joined KJS as a paralegal for our Newbury office. His day-to-day tasks include assisting the solicitors in the firm with their caseload, drafting letters and forms, preparing court documents, and meeting with clients. Joe enjoys the human aspect of supporting the clients personally through their often-difficult circumstances they find themselves in.
After graduating from Cardiff University in July 2024, Joe has been applying the skills he acquired through pro-bono and volunteer work to his role at KJS, where he is further developing his other transferrable skills, including time management.
Joe applies his meticulous and caring approach to the clients he liaises with, ensuring he is empowering them from the beginning to the end of their matter. As a client, Joe will greet you when you come in for consultations regarding your matter and liaise with you directly over the phone.
Joe is based at our Newbury office.

Q: What’s your go-to karaoke song?
A: Open the Door, See What You Find by Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. It's not really a karaoke song but I'd give it a go. Not that anyone would want to hear it of course!
Q: What is something completely random about yourself your colleagues wouldn’t know?
A: I can name every single Formula One World Champion in chronological order, starting from the sport's inception in 1950. No one ever needs to know that information, but just in case they do- you know who to call!
Q: Coffee or Tea?
A: Tea! It's much more versatile. You can't have a coffee in the evening!
